The Linhof Technorama 617s is my preferred camera, followed by the Hasselblad SWC905. As you may be aware, these are all manual film cameras that produce extraordinary resolution and quality.

In the past these analogue cameras were all taken for granted in the daily lives of professional photographers who were always striving for a better solution. In hindsight it could be argued that photographers with these cameras already had the best image-capturing device of the day.

Now, digital cameras provide the user with instant gratification and global connectivity. The exponential improvement in digital technology gives the user the ability to take a photograph under any conditions. Unfortunately this has been a detriment to the long-term championship of the classic film camera.

These images highlight the versatility of the Linhof Technorama 617s in situations from oblique aerial to landscapes.
